Dennis E. Lackowski, 67, of Harbor Beach, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at 
Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.  He was born on September 9, 1949, in Bad Axe 
to the late Edward Lackowski and Edwina (Smaglinski) Lackowski. He and Susan 
Capling were united in marriage on August 28, 1971 in Harbor Beach. Dennis was 
a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, Verona Hills Golf Club and 
the Harbor Beach Gun Club. 

Dennis is survived by his wife Susan Lackowski of Harbor Beach; his sons Troy 
Lackowski of Harbor Beach, Ryan Lackowski and special friend Jennifer Richmond 
of Harbor Beach, and Chad Lackowski and special friend Sarah Brandt of Saginaw; 
his mother Edwina Lackowski of Bad Axe; and siblings Barbara Lackowski of Bad 
Axe, Judy Lackowski of Bad Axe Cindy Miller and special friend Tom Shedd of Bad 
Axe, Jerome (Debbie) Lackowski of Port Hope, Steven (Denise) Lackowski of Ruth; 
and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral mass for Dennis will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Our 
Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish. Burial 
will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Dennis will be from 2 to 8 
p.m. on Wednesday at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on 
Thursday will be at the church beginning at 10 a.m. until time of services at 
11 a.m. A parish vigil service will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the
