Clarence V. Lackowski
March 6, 1929 – November 10, 2016
Lackowski, Clarence V. Frankenmuth, MI Clarence passed away peacefully 
Thursday, November 10, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loved ones; age 87 
years.  Clarence was born on March 6, 1929 in Hamtramck, Michigan.  He worked 
in the automotive industry advancing to skilled trades until he retired in 
2002.  Clarence resided in Frankenmuth, Michigan with his loving wife Betty.  
He was formerly from Bad Axe where he started his beloved farm.  Clarence was a 
member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Moose Lodge in Birch Run, 
Michigan.  Clarence had been battling Parkinson's disease  for many years, and 
due to the loving support of his family, he was able to remain living in his 
home until the time of his passing. 

Clarence is survived by his wife of 50 years Betty Jean Lackowski and their 
seven children: Claude (Debbie) Lackowski of Ohio, Michelle Ulman of 
Washington, Rhonda Lackowski of Frankenmuth, Rene' Nassar of Tennessee, 
CJ "Clarence" (Diane) Lackowski of Grand Rapids, Michael Lackowski of 
Frankenmuth and Nicholas (Amber) Lackowski of Bridgeport; many    
grandchildren: Perry, Steven (Stephanie), Sheila (Josh), Shawn, Alfonso, 
Audrey, Nolan, Conner, Katherine, Jasmine, Fatima, Laila, Paige and Jesslyn; 
many great grandchildren: Jack, Lily, Brendan, Melody, Maddelyn and Patrick; 
sister and brothers: Jeanette (Al) Lopez of Washington, Marshall (Mary Ann) 
Lackowski of Washington, Alexander Lackowski of Bad Axe, and many nieces and 
nephews.  Clarence was predeceased by a son; Matthew Lackowski of California 
and a brother William Lackowski. 

Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. 
at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola St., Frankenmuth, MI. Fr. 
Robert Byrne will officiate with burial in Blessed Trinity Cemetery. Clarence's 
family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. 
Franklin St. on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Monday from 
10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy
