Aug. 8 - Mrs. Josephine Lackowski, 63, also known as Mrs. Josephine Hill, died Monday night in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jacob Abraham, in Parisville after an illness of two days. Funeral services will be held at 9 a m. Thursday in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic church in Parisville. Rev. Fr. Joseph L. Koper, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lackowski is survived by 10 children, Mrs. Abraham, Frank Hill, Sigel; John Hill, Paris; Mrs. Chester Parker, Mrs. Clara Kusak, Miss Josephine Hill, Mrs. Paul Berger and Peter and Ira Hill, all of Detroit, and Mrs. Stanley Budd, Romulus, Michigan. Mrs. Lackowski was born December 15, 1870 in Paris township. She was the widow of Thomas Lakowski, who died several years ago.
