His health had been poor for some time but he had been ill only three days. Mr. and Mrs. Lackowski celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday with 125 guests present. All eleven of the Lackowski children and 44 grandchildren, were present. Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Wednesday in St Mary's Roman Catholic church, Parisville. Rev. Fr. Joseph Kopper, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Lackowski was born September 18, 1862 in Verona township and had been a resident of Huron county all his life. Rev. Fr. Joseph Kopper. pastor, officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Lackowski is survived by his widow, Mrs. Josephine Lackowski: five sons, Frank Hill, Harbor Beach; John and Alex Hill both of Ruth, and Peter and Ira Hill, both of Detroit; six daughters, Mrs. Jacob Abraham, Paris township; Mrs. Casimir O'Parker, Mrs. Stanley Budd, Mrs. Edward Kusik, Mrs. Paul Barger, and Miss Josephine Hill, all of Detroit and 44 grandchildren.
