Frank Lackowski
October 25, 1891 - June 28, 1981
MOUNT CLEMENS - Frank Lackowski, 89, formerly of Ubly, died Sunday, June 28, 
1981, in St. Joseph's Hospital-West after a short illness.  He was born 
October 25, 1891, in Paris Township.  He married Julia Kucharczyk November 
11, 1919, in Parisville.  She died February 20, 1980.  Mr. Lackowski farmed 
in Sigel Township.  He retired in 1968 and moved to Ubly.  He had lived with 
his son, Franklin, in Mount Clemens the last year.  He is survived by six 
daughters, Mrs. George (Selma) Geiger, Harbor Beach, Mrs. Ernest (Virginia) 
Watchowski and Mrs. Robert (Frances) Becking, both of Bad Axe, Mrs. Elmer 
(Evelyn) Peyerk, Filion, Mrs. Chris (Sylvia) Bartolatta, Roseville, and Mrs. 
Theresa Puvlowski, East Detroit; six sons, Edward and Casimer, both of Bad 
Axe, Ervin, Warren, Walter Hill, Dearborn Heights, Richard, Roseville, and 
Franklin; five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Abraham, Bayport, Mrs. Clara Kusak, 
Northville, Mrs. John (Phoebe) Valence, McAllen, Texas, Josephine Hill, 
Detroit, and Mrs. Sylvia Richard, Warren; 49 grandchildren; and 26 
greatgrandchildren.  A son, Raymond, and a daughter, Rose Collins, died 
earlier.  

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 
Parisville.  The Rev. Stanley Surman will officiate.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.  Visiting begins at 2 p.m. today in the Zinger Funeral 
Home, Ubly.  A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral

Note:  Born to Thomas & Josephine (Trepkowski) Lackowski.   Married Frances 
Grzybowski/Gebowski 1898-1917 on June 15, 1915 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church 
in Parisville.
