E. Lynne (Maiers) Lackowski
May 22, 1944 - May 17, 2017
E. Lynne (Maiers) Lackowski, age 72, of Lapeer, Michigan passed away 
Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital in Lapeer, 
Michigan.  A Service of Remembrance will be held at Avram Funeral Home in 
Mayville, Michigan on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Carol 
Brown officating.  The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until time 
of service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Discretionary 
Fund.

Lynne was born May 22, 1944 in Caro, Michigan to Ralph Maiers and Grace 
(Sherk) Aumack. She graduated from Mayville High School in 1963.  Lynne 
married LaVern Lackowski on May 3, 2003 in Mayville, Michigan.  She was a 
massage therapist and worked as a secretary at Massage Therapy School in 
Lapeer, Michigan.  Lynne loved her cats, garage sales and playing cards.

She is survived by her three children, Brent Pickens of Mayville, Michigan, 
Karmon Johnson of Lapeer, Michigan and Tenille Pickens of Lapeer, Michigan; 
one brother, Terry (Fran) Maiers of Davison, Michigan; one sister, Karon 
(Dan) Laviolette of Freeland, Michigan; and three grandchildren Maleek, 
Tharen and Jerah.

Lynne is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, LaVern Lackowski in 
2008; one brother, Donald Maiers; and one grandson, Evan Pickens-Hurt.
