Judith M. Lackowski  
December 3, 1952- March 14, 2024
Judith Lackowski, age 71 of Bad Axe, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 
Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.  She was born on December 3, 1952 
in Bad Axe, daughter of the late Edward and Edwina (Smaglinski) Lackowski.  She 
worked most of her life in the manufacturing business.  She enjoyed watching the 
Detroit Tigers and Lions and loved scratching her lottery tickets.

Judith is survived by two sisters, Barbara Lackowski of Bad Axe and Cindy Miller 
and her fiancé Tom Shedd of Bad Axe, two brothers, Jerry (Debra) Lackowski of 
Port Hope and Steven (Denise) Lackowski of Ruth and one sister-in-law Susan 
Lackowski of Harbor Beach.  Several nieces and nephews, including Troy 
Lackowski, Ryan (Jennifer) Lackowski, Chad (Sarah) Lackowski, Scott (Heather) 
Miller, Alex Lackowski (Janelle Schmidt), Steve Lackowski Jr., Michelle 
Lackowski (Aaron King), Michael (Lauren) Lackowski, Stephanie Lackowski (Alex 
Schornack) and McKenzie (Trent) Poupor.  She was preceded in death by her 
parents, Edward and Edwina Lackowski and brother Dennis.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be in St. 
Joseph Cemetery in Rapson.
