Base Line, Highland, died yesterday in Riverside. He was a native of Detroit, Michigan and had lived in Highland 33 years. He was a warehouseman. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 166 of San Bernardino and St. Anne's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Josephine M.; two sons, Robert Roy, of Canoga Park, and Ralph Edward, of Portlands; a daughter. Mary Ann Panelli, of San Bernardino; two brothers, Edward, of Warren, Michigan, and Curtis, of Memphis, Tenneesee; a sister, Mildred Haske, of Detroit, Michigan; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Rosary is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 at the Grove Colonial Chapel. Mass will be tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery. Michael Joe changed his name from Landyszkowski to Lance sometime between 1920 and 1930. Alexander married Josephine Schiappacasse on February 20, 1924 in Detroit. Although his obituary states he was 59 when he died, he was actually 69 years old.
