Mary Margaret (Summers) Lance
March 20, 1916 - February 17, 2003
OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma - Mary Margaret Lance, 86, moved to heaven Monday 
February 17, 2003.  Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Oklahoma 
City, Oklahoma.  Mary was born to Catherine and Edward Summers on March 20, 
1916.  One of 10 children, she was raised in Chicago.  She married Curtis Joseph 
Lance in Socorro New Mexico, and they were happily married for 52 years.  She 
raised her children in Fort Worth and was a secretary for 40 years.  Mary was 
active in church and loved Jesus with all her heart.  

Mary was preceded in death by her husband.  Survivors: Her sons Mike of Tulsa, 
Oklahoma and wife Kris, Marc of Lake Charles Louisiana, and wife Brandie, and 
Milt and wife, Ginger, of Fort Worth; twin daughters Jean and Joan Lance of 
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren Kjersten Curt, Brianna, Jason, Devin, 
Graham, Chris and Maggie; and sisters Laurie Sammet, Rita Buckman and Fran
