Elizabeth (Glaza) Lemanski
July 8, 1903 - December 14, 1977
HARBOR BEACH - Elizabeth Lemanski, 74, of Helena Road, died Wednesday of an 
apparent heart attack.  She was born July 8, 1903, In Paris Township, and 
was a lifelong resident.  She married Alex Lemanski in 1924.  She is 
survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Kelp, Troy; four sons, 
Frank Lemanski, Caro, Richard and Raymond Lemanski, both of Harbor Beach, 
and Clarence Lemanski, Sterling Heights; 21 grandchildren; three brothers, 
John Glaza, Ubly, and Joseph and Frank Glaza, both of Bay City; three 
sisters. Mrs. Martha Peyrek and Mrs. Gertrude Sosnowski, both of Harbor 
Beach, and Mrs. Madge Gorney, Pontiac.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday 
in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville.  The Rev. Stanley Surman, pastor, 
will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains are in 
the Ramsey funeral until 8 p.m. today.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron,

Additional Comments:
Note:  Born to Peter & Annie (Ulfig) Glaza.  Although her obituary states she 
was married in 1924, if you look at the actual marriage record, it shows 
Elizabeth & Alexander Lemanski were actually married on January 20, 1925 in 
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Parisville.
