He was born March 3, 1926, in Parisville, son of the late Lawrence and Theresa (O’Parka) Lamke. He married Ruby M. Bouverette on June 6, 1953 in St. Edwards Catholic Church in Kinde. She preceded him in death Nov. 18, 2006. Cass was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. He enjoyed the accordion and antique car collectibles. He is survived by one son, Ronald (Marilyn) Lamke of Bad Axe; one daughter, Pamela (Terry) McMullen of Bad Axe; three grandchildren, Kimberly Lamke and her husband, David Brown, of Evanston, Ill., Ken Lamke of Bad Axe, Nicole (Gregory) Turner of Saginaw; two great-grandchildren, Breanna and Braden Turner of Sagiaw, three brothers, Elmer Lamke of Ubly, Eugene (Mildred) Lamke of Parisville, Richard (Barbara) Lamke of Ubly; two sisters, Evelyn Susalla of Ubly and Arlene (Jerry) Longuski of Ubly. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ervin Lemke, Raymond Lamke; one sister, Marie Peruski. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe or from 9 until 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. A scripture service will be offered at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
