He was born July 22, 1880 near Pinnebog and has been a life long resident of Huron county. Albert and Anna Marie Hebert were married June 25, 1900 in Hewelton Cath ch. Mr Lenaway worked as a barn farmer and carpenter in his early years and came to Bad Axe and worked for John Ryan, S.T. & H Oil Co and John Neeb Oil Co. He has lived in Bad Axe the past 51 years. Albert's favorite hobby was his flower garden which was truly a show place. He was a member of Sacred Heart Cath ch, Altar and Holy Name societies. Survivors are his widow; five daughters, Mrs Lillie David and Mrs Anna Mae Kelly, both of Royal Oak, Mrs Theresa Sweig, Saginaw, Sister Mary Albert, O.P. and Sister Mary Virginia, O.P. both of Miami FL; two sons, Marvel A Lenaway, birmingham and Orville A Lenaway, Royal Oak; 22 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs Mary Pechette, Pinnebog, Mrs Margaret McGee, Detroit and Mrs Sarah McPhail, Saginaw; 2 brothers, John and Peter Leneway, both of Elkton. Remains are in MacAlpine funeral home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.ma. Sat in Sacred Heart Cath ch. A nephew, Rev Fr. Lucian A Hebert, pastor of Our Queen of Martyr Parish, Birmingham, will officiate. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart cemetery.
