John Carl Leppek
January 2, 1882 - January 6, 1949
John Leppek, about 67, boyhood resident of Paris Township, died last 
Thursday in Detroit where he lived many years.  Funeral services were held 
Monday in Holy Name Catholic church, Detroit, with burial in Mt. Olivet 
Cemetery. 

Mr. Leppek is survived by his widow, Stella, a son, Edward, and four 
daughters, Mrs. Frank Walker, Mrs. Arthur Minhart, Mrs. Alfred Gerhard, and 
Mrs. Robert Hudson, all of Detroit; his mother, Mrs. Frank Goriski, Ubly; 
three brothers, Joseph and Walter, both of Parisville, and Frank Leppek, 
Sigel Township, and a sister, Mrs. N. A. Chagnon, Port Austin.  Published 
Minden City Herald Friday January 14, 1949 and Times Herald (Port Huron, 
Michigan) Sunday January 9, 1949

Note:  Born to Matthew & Susanna (Trepkowski) Leppek.  Married Stella Springer 
on January 15, 1906 in Detroit.  Sisters: Lillian Gerhard, Helen Minehart, 
Sally Walker, Loretta Hudson
