Frank Joe Leppek
April 28, 1886 - December 7, 1980
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Frank Leppek, 94, formerly of Huron County, died 
Sunday, December 7, 1980, in Bakersfield after a long illness.  He was born 
April 28, 1886, in Paris Township.  He married Clara Plevnia Mzyk November 
16, 1915, in Parisville.  Mr. Leppek farmed In Paris and Sigel townships 
until 1955, when he moved to Bad Axe.  He has lived in Bakersfield since 
1964. 

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Ira, of Bakersfield, and Chester, of 
Harbor Beach; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Vivian) Rumptz, of Ubly; a stepson, 
Tyrus Mzyk, of Elkton; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one 
great-great-grandchild. 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 
Parisville. The Rev. Stanley Surman, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be 
in the church cemetery.  Visiting hours in the Zinger Funeral Home, Ubly, 
begin at 7 p.m. today. St. Mary's Men's Club will recite a rosary at 7:30 
p.m. today in the funeral home.  A parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 
p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron,
