Leppek September 22, 1887 - June 3, 1972 RUTH Joseph M. Leppek, 84, retired Paris Township farmer, died Saturday in Huron Memorial Hospital, Bad Axe, after a long illness. He was born September 22, 1887 in Paris Township. Mr. Leppek served 17 years as treasurer of Paris School District No. 4. He and Anna Pawlowski were married September 22, 1913. He is survived by his widow; four sons, Alfred and Wilbert Leppek, both of Ruth; Elmer Leppek, East Detroit, and Clarence Leppek, Eureka, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Lee Schubring, Utica; Mrs. Herbert Centner, St. Clair Shores, and Mrs. Eugene Guitar and Edward Krozek, both of Warren; a sister, Mrs. Mary Changnon, Port Austin; a brother Frank Leppek, Bakersfield, Calif., 38 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Another daughter, Mrs. Elsie Kubacki, was killed in a traffic mishap in 1972. The remains are in Zinger Funeral Home, Ubly, where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville. Rev. Richard Katajczak will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
