James Howard Leppek
October 31, 1923 - April 18, 2001
James Howard Leppek, 77, of Marion Township, died April 18 at home. He was 
born October 31, 1923, in Ruth, Michigan, the son of Walter S. and Gertrude 
(Kowalski) Leppek.  He married Marilyn J. Polevach on June 5, 1948 In 
Parisville Township; she survives.  Mr. Leppek had been a resident of Marlon 
Township for the past 27 years and was currently serving as Marion Township 
supervisor.  He was a former manufacturing manager of Ex-Cell-O in Howell; 
former manager of the Howell Elks Lodge; a U.S. Army veteran; life member of 
the V.F.W.; member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Howell. 

Surviving relatives include his wife, Marilyn; his children, Pamela Leppek 
of Texas, Michael Leppek of Fowlerville, Jeffrey (Pam) Leppek of Brighton 
and Lynn (Bob) Ladouceur of Farmlngton Hills; one brother. Bob Leppek of Las 
Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren. 

Funeral services have taken place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Howell 
with Fr. Gilbert O. Rahrlg officiating.  Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in 
Howell.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart 
Association.  Arrangements by MacDonald's Funeral Home, Howell.  Published 
Livingston County Daily Press and Argus, Howell, Mich. Sunday April 22, 2001
