Patricia A. Maurer, 69, of Frankenmuth passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at 
Meadow View Manor in Saginaw.  Pat was born July 14, 1939 in Sanilac County to 
the late Stanley and Bertha (Grifka) Osentoski.  She married Ronald Maurer 
October 11, 1958 in Ubly, Michigan .  He survives her.  Pat worked in the 
banking industry in Frankenmuth for many years and the Emil Rummel Agency for 
several years before her retirement.  She was a member of Blessed Trinity 
Catholic Church and its altar society. 

Surviving are two daughters and four sons, Diane (Mark) Fargo of Ada, Kevin 
(Carol) Maurer of Frankenmuth, Brian (Penny) Maurer of Skillman, New .Jersey, 
Scott (Lisa) Maurer of Frankenmuth, Myron (Jodi) Maurer of Frankenmuth, Cindy 
(Chad) Schroeder of Saginaw; 20 grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, 
Elmer (Helen) Osentoski of Ubly, John (Mary) Osentoski of Ubly, Jane (Richard) 
Maurer of Ruth, Mary Alice (Jeffrey) Greene of Rodney, Lorraine Kzinowek of 
Essexville; and many nieces and nephews.  A brother, Henry Osentoski, 
predeceased her.

Mass of Christian burial took place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 
Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Fr. Robert Byrne officiated.  Those planning 
an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Hospice of Hope, 
Blessed Trinity Catholic Church or Alzheimer’s Association.
