Mary Ann (Kubacki) Maurer 
May 6, 1957 - January 27, 2010
Mary Ann Maurer, 52, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 27, 
2010. Mary was a lifelong resident of Huron County.  She was born May 6, 1957 
in Harbor Beach.  Mary attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe.  She 
loved spending time with her grandchildren and being outdoors with her flowers 
and gardening.

She is survived by her sons, Reuben (Liz) Kubacki of Roseville and Dusty (Jill) 
Maurer of Bad Axe; her daughter, Jessica (Erik) Thompson of Felton, Deleware; 
grandchildren, Drew Maurer and Shyanne Schlabach; her parents, James and 
Virginia Kubacki of Kinde; her siblings, Eugene (Rose) Kubacki of Warren, 
Elaine (Ron) Martin, of Caro, Judy Strozeski, of Rockford, Terry Kubacki, of 
Bad Axe, Renee (Kriss) Klaus, of Lapeer and Scott (Raylene) Kubacki of 
Flushing; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at the 
MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe with Fr. Robb Howe, officiating. Burial will 
be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be conducted at 10 a.m. 
until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be 
offered to the Family Discretionary Fund.
