Darrin Maurer
September 6, 1966 - September 13, 2014
Darrin Maurer, 48, of Bad Axe, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014, at his 
home.  He was born September 6, 1966 in Bad Axe, son of Robert and Selma 
(Ulfig) Maurer.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Selma Maurer of Filion; a sister, 
Susan Norton of Port Huron; four brothers, Daniel Maurer of Filion, Dale 
(Rachel) Maurer of Snover, Dwayne (Tracy) Maurer of Elkton and Don (Leslie) 
Maurer of Bad Axe; close friend, Jim Davidson of Bad Axe; eight nieces and 
nephews, Davina Maurer, David Maurer Jr., Robert Maurer, Renee Maurer, Tiffany 
Maurer, Sarah Maurer, Shane Maurer and Danielle Maurer; and two great-nephews, 
Mason Maurer and Trenton Maurer.
Darrin was predeceased by a brother, David Maurer; and a nephew, Christopher 
Maurer.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Burial 
will be in Colfax Cemetery.
Visitors may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
