Minnie M. (Puvalowski) Maurer
February 22, 1913 - April 24, 1978
HARBOR BEACH - Mrs. Minnie M. Maurer, 65, of 675 State St., died Monday in Huron 
Memorial Hospital apparently of a heart attack.  She was born February 22, 1913, 
in Siegel Township.  She married Edward W. Maurer September 24, 1934, in 
Parisville.  The couple farmed in Siegel Township until they moved to Harbor 
Beach in 1973. 

Mrs. Maurer is survived by her husband; two sons, Wilfred Maurer, Mount Morris, 
and Ronald Maurer, Frankenmuth; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Messing, Harbor Beach; 
13 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Wrubel, and Beatrice Chiova, both 
of Detroit, Mrs. Gertrude Wrubel, Ubly, and Vickie Wrubell St. Helens; two 
daughters and a son died previously.  

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Smith 
Corners.  The Rev. Stephen Sramek, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in 
the church cemetery.  A rosary will be said by the Holy Trinity Altar Society 
Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Ramsey Funeral Home.  Father Sramek will recite a 
rosary at 8 p.m. Wednesday; and the Daughters of Isabella at 8:30 p.m.
