Lucy was born on February 9, 1899 in Paris Township to the late Rufus and Martha (Skrzypinski) Mazure. She never married. Lucy attended a country school. She worked on the family farm. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Parisville. She loved gardening, cooking for family and visiting with friends. She is survived by 13 nieces and nephews, Jerome Mazure, Yvonne Kula, Loretta Boggia, Dolores Roberts, Margaret Schamborn, Adeline Ruby, Archie Wrubel, Alice Wrubel, Virgil Mazure, LaVern Mazure, Diane Leppek, Joyce Lamke, Willard Mazure; and many more great- and great-great nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2006 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Parisville. The Rev. Andrzej Boroch, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday at the church.
