Theresa (Wrubel) Mazure
October 9, 1890 – January 9, 1954
Verona Township Woman Succumbs In Farm Home 
Bad Axe. January 9 - Mrs. Theresa Mazure, 63, wife of Barney Mazure and lifelong 
resident of the Thumb, died Saturday in her farm home in Verona Township; after 
a long illness.  Mrs. Mazure was born October 9. 1890, in Paris Township.  She 
and Mr. Mazure were married February 27, 1911.  Since her marriage, she lived in 
Verona Township.  She was a member of St. Rita Altar Society of St. Joseph's  
Catholic church at Rapson. 

Mrs. Mazure is survived by her, husband, a son. Clarence Mazure, Wayne. 
Michigan, two daughters. Mrs. Leona Roggenbuck, Harbor Beach, and Miss Jean 
Mazure, who lives with her parents; three grandchildren,  a brother, Julius 
Wrubel, Detroit, and five sisters. Mrs. Pauline Kubacki, Oxford. Mich.; Mrs. 
Peter Dunick. Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. Charles Steele, Ecorse. Michigan, and Mrs. 
Arnold Peterson and Mrs. Patrick McManaman, both of Detroit.  Published Port 
Huron Times Herald January 10, 1954
