August Mazure
August 26, 1880 – May 17, 1967
AUGUST MAZURE -  Bad Axe - Funeral services for August Mazure, 86, Huron County 
native pioneer, who died Wednesday, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in St 
Joseph’s Catholic Church at nearby Rapson.  Very Rev. Joseph C. Karaba, O.S.B., 
will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. 

The remains are In Zinger Funeral Home, Ubly, where Rosaries will be recited 
today at 8 p.m. by Father Karaba, Holy Name and Ladies' Altar Societies and St. 
Anne s Mothers' Guild and at 9 p.m. by Knights of Columbus.  Published Times

Notes:  Born August 26, 1880 in Paris Township to Frank and Rosalia (Sofka) 
Mazure.  Married Anna Richard March 6, 1905 in St. Mary Catholic Church in 
Parisville.
