Sandra Carol (Baur) Mazure
June 3, 1961 - May 10, 2007
Sandy Mazure, 45 years old recently of Antioch, formerly of Gardena, California 
passed away Thursday, May 10, 2007 at her home.  She was born June 3, 1961 in 
Los Angeles, California and had lived in Gardena for many years, moving to Ft. 
Lauderdale, Florida in November of 2005 and recently to Antioch in October of 
2006.  She attended the Community Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Villa, was a 
volunteer at the Open Arms Mission in Antioch and at various Hospice Units in 
the Gardena, California area.  Sandy enjoyed baking, shopping, making greeting 
and all occasion cards, was an I Love Lucy fan and had a green thumb for 
gardening.  On April 24, 2002 she married Joel Mazure in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Survivors include her husband, Joel; her two daughters, Steffani Leavitt of 
Bucksport, Maine and Magan Robinson of Reno, Nevada; her mother Wanda Shoemacher 
of Hawthorne, California; her granddaughter, Madison, her brother, James of 
California; and her sisters, Sally “Jeannie” (Greg) Goltz of West Covina, 
California, Gloria (Greg) Jones of Hawthorne, California, Vickie Aliabadi of 
Santa Monica, California and Linda (Case) Westman of Mattawa, Washington.

Funeral services and interment will be private. Those desiring may make 
contributions to Open Arms Mission, P O Box 79, Antioch, IL 60002 in her memory. 
Arrangements were entrusted to the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, IL.
