Henry McAllister
April 10, 1903 – March 14, 1964
Henry McAllister, 60, a carpenter, lifelong resident of the Blue Water 
District, died Saturday in his home, 1516 Poplar Street, after a short 
illness.  Mr. McAllister was born April 10, 1903, in Huron County, and 
attended schools there.  He and Miss Irene Pionk were married April 25, 
1923. 

He is survived by his widow; five daughters, Mrs. Betty Floyd, Mrs. Gertrude 
Ross and Mrs. Arlene Himmel, all of Port Huron, and Mrs. Geraldine Harris 
and Mrs. Jennie Burmeister, both of Detroit; a son, William H. McAllister, 
Port Huron; two brothers, Colburn McAllister, Detroit; four sisters, Mrs. 
Jennie Davidson, Mayville; Mrs. Emma Lee, Almont; and Mrs. James Badgley and 
Mrs. Frank Chesney, both of Harbor Beach; 22 grandchildren and several 
nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Funeral services will be con ducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Jowett 
Funeral Home. Rev. William H. Green, pastor of Northgate Baptist Church, 
will officiate.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Published Port
