John J McEachin
John J McEachin, 67, died Sat in Mercy hospital, Bay City, after a one year 
illness. He was born Sept 21,1883 in Sheridan twp of which he was a life long 
resident. He is survived by 6 sons, Angus of North Branch, Rev Fr Cornelius, 
asst pastor of St Brigid ch, Midland, John of Chicago, Ray, Saginaw, James at 
home and Charles, Detroit. One daughter, Miss Flora, at home and one grandchild. 
His wife, Isabelle, died Jan 25, 1933. A daughter, Mary, was killed in an auto 
accident in April 1944. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wed from 
ST Columbkille ch with Rev Cornelius McEachin conducting the high mass, assisted 
by Rev John McMillan, brother in law, pastor of St Clement's ch, Romeo; Deacon 
Rev Jerome MacEachin, cousin, who is Superintendent of Lansing Diocese will be 
sub deacon. The Saginaw Diocesan priest choir will chant at the high mass. 
Burial will be in the ch cemetery. He was a member of the Bad Axe council 1546 K 
of C.
