Bad Axe, Nov 10 -- Daniel J McGee, 80, resident of Huron County about 68 years, 
died Sun in Hubbard Memorial hospital after an illness of a month. Born April 6, 
1872, in Lucan Ont, Mr. McGee cam to Meade Twp, Huron Co, when he was 12 years 
old with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin McGee. Mr. McGee lived the 
last 14 years in Bad Axe. His wife, Elizabeth, died 12 years ago. He is survived 
by five daughters, Mrs. Russell Light, Mrs. Ted Dowde, Mrs. Matthew McLellan and 
Mrs. Mack Louks, all of Bad Axe, and Mrs. Charles Krohn, Elkton; and three sons, 
Martin, James, and Frank McGee all of Elkton; 24 grandchildren, three brothers, 
Patrick McGee, Bad Axe and Joseph and Charles McGee both of Kinde; and two 
sisters, Mrs. Calvin Harrison, Kinde and Mrs. James Casey, Bad Axe. He was a 
member of Sacred Heart Cath ch. Requiem High mass will be solemnized at 9 a.m. 
Tues in Sacred Heart ch by Rt Rev Msgr Charles A Roark and other priests. Burial 
will be in Colfax Cemetery. Rosary devotions will be conducted at 8 p.m. today 
in Alden A MacAlpine funeral home by Msgr Roark.
