Donald Charles McIntosh
July 12, 1950 - July 26, 1979
PIGEON - Donald C, Mcintosh, 29. died Thursday, July 26, 1979, from injuries 
suffered in a motorcycle accident at the Owendale Speedway.  He was born July 2, 
1950, In Holt.  He married Barbara Burzyck July 8, 1972, in Pigeon.  Mr. 
Mcintosh was a parishioner of St. Columbkille Catholic Church Sheridan, and was 
a member of the Knights of Columbus, Bad Axe Council 1546.  He was a U.S. Marine 
Corps Veteran: He was employed by Osentoski Equipment Co., Pigeon.  Mr. Mcintosh 
was a 1968 graduate of East Detroit High School. 

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Andrew, Mattew and Dan; two daughters, 
Jennifer and Susan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Mcintosh, Holt; his 
grandmother, Mrs. Ida Wolschlager, Bad Axe; four brothers, James, East Detroit, 
John and Raymond, both of Holt, and LCpl. Joe, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; three 
sisters, Mrs. Bruce (Joan) Hughes, Troy, Mrs. Patrick (Cecelia) Stanley, New 
Baltimore, and Mrs. David (Mary) Lyons, Mount Clemens. 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Columbkille Catholic Church.  The 
Rev. Julius Spleet, pastor, will officiate.  Military graveside rites also will 
be conducted.  A parish rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in the MacAlpine 
Funeral Home, Bad Axe, and at 8.30 p.m. by the Knights of Columbus.  Burial will 
be in the church cemetery.  Visiting hours will be in the funeral home.
Note: Born to Lester & Helen (Wolschlager) McIntosh.  Although his obituary 
states he was born July 2nd, his actual birth date was July 12 according to all 
official records and his headstone
