Mrs William J Messing
Ruth, Jan 3 – Mrs Louisa Messing, 69, wife of William J Messing and lifelong 
resident of Sherman Twp, Huron Co, died Sun in her home. She is survived by her 
husband, a son, Clarence Messing, Ruth; two daughters, Mrs Adolph Vogel and Mrs 
Anthony Weber, both of Minden city; 28 grandchildren, a great grandchild; four 
sisters, Mrs Bernard Messing, Ruth, Mrs Michael Gentner, Detroit, Mrs Anna 
Schock, Bad Axe and Mrs Dolph Schock, Minden City and three brothers, Edward 
Stein, Harbor Beach, Henry Stein, Nipawin, Sask and Charles Stein, Minden City. 
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Wed in SS Peter & Paul Cath ch 
by Rev Frank W Kaufmann, Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary 
devotions, in charge of Christian Mothers, of which Mrs Messing was a member, 
will be held at 8 p.m. Tues in her home. Mrs Messing was born May 20, 1879 in 
Sherman Twp.
