Betty Jean (Clor) Mills
April 14, 1932 – April 11, 1999
Betty Jean Mills, age 66, of Adrian, died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Emma L. 
Bixby Hospital of Adrian after a long illness.  She was born April 14, 1932 in 
White Rock, Michigan., daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth S. (Newsom) Clor.  
She was a graduate of Sts. Peter and Paul School.  She owned Betty's Adult 
Foster Care Home in Tecumseh for many years.  She retired to the Adrian area in 
1990. 

She is survived by two sons, Eugene Wigley of Angler, North Caroline and William 
Wigley; two daughters, Elizabeth Rogers and her husband, Eric, of Jackson, 
Michigan and Jacqueline Stevens of Monclova, Ohio; seven grandchildren; four 
great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Edward Young of 
Adrian; five sisters, Ann Prine and her husband, Donald of Port Sanilac; Junie 
Brown and her husband, C. Richard of Long Beach, California, Frances Myers and 
her husband, Dennis of Pinckney; Judy Swartz and her husband, Charles of Harbor 
Beach; Darlene House and her husband, Gerry of Metamora; two brothers, Eugene 
Clor of E.
Lansing and Patrick Clor and his wife Eva of Marion Texas. 

Mass of Christian burial was on Thursday, April 15, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. 
Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Ruth, Rev. Ronald Wagner, pastor, officiated.  
Burial was in the church cemetery.  Published Harbor Beach Times Thursday April 
22, 1999.
