Fredrynne Ruth (Arnit) Mootz
July 30, 1935 - February 3, 2011
Fredrynne R. “Rene” Mootz, 75, of Ocala, passed away February 3, 2011 at Ocala 
Regional Medical Center.  Born in Chicago, Illinois, she came to this area 2 
years ago from Kansas City, Kansas where she retired as the comptroller of 
Brookridge Country Club.  Prior to moving to Kansas, Mrs. Mootz resided in 
Florida, spending many years in Panama City, Florida.  She loved music and was 
an accomplished pianist who also taught piano.  She also was an accomplished 
horseman who at one time owned and rode horses with her daughter, Cecelia. 

She is survived by her husband Russell K. Mootz, Sr. who she met as a teenager, 
was reunited with and married almost 5 years ago.  She is also survived by her 
daughter, Cecelia Anderson of Bay County, Florida; step children, Cheryl Miller 
of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Russell K. Mootz, Jr., Scott Mootz and Tammy Lynn 
Mootz all of Roscoe, New York; sister, Delores Ickes of Delray Beach, Florida; 
numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was 
preceded in death by her son, Russell Wilson, Jr. 

A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day 
Saints (1831 SE 18th Ave. Ocala, Florida 34471) on Monday (Feb. 7th) at 2PM.  In 
lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the 
American Diabetes Association PO Box 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312 1-800-DIABETES
