Esther Phoebe (Fisher) Murray June 20, 1918 - October 10, 2004 Mrs. Esther P. Murray, 86, of Frankenmuth, and formerly of Bad Axe, passed away Sunday morning, October 10, 2004 at Tendercare Nursing Home in Frankenmuth. Esther was born on July 20, 1918 in Parisville to the late Martin and Alice (Oberski) Fisher. She married Clements V. Murray on February 10, 1945 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1986. Esther was a graduate of. Ubly High School. She was a bookkeeper for Michigan Livestock and retired in 1980. She was a former member and office of the Altar Society at Sacred Heart Parish where she was a parishioner for 50 years. Esther is, survived by three daughters, Carolyn Murray, Marilyn Zander and Janet Murray all of Saginaw; two sons, Paul Murray of Jenison, Mich., and Carl Murray and his wife, Karyl, of Harper Woods; two grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Peplinski and her husband, Frank Sr., of Ubly, one brother, Marvin Fisher and his wife, Anastasia, of North Fort Myers, Florida. She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Burt Zander, and one sister, Irma Fisher. Funeral mass will be 11:00. a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2004 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Smith Comers. The Rev. James Carlson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Wednesday from 1:30 - 9:00 p.m. and and Thursday from 9:00 10:00 a.m. There will be a parish vigil service on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. by Fr.
