Jacob Neesz
Bad Axe Aug 27 – Jacob Neesz, 54, died early today in Hubbard Hospital, after an 
illness of several months. Mr Neesz is survived by his widow; a son, John Jacob 
Neesz; his parents, Mr and Mrs Philip Neesz and a brother Philip Neesz, Jr, all 
of Bad Axe and 2 sisters, Mrs Clarence Corpron, Bad Axe and Mrs Lucille Althen, 
Detroit. Born May 2, 1895, in Austria, he came to Cleveland OH, with his parents 
when he was 12 years old. He later lived near Pigeon and came to a farm near Bad 
Axe in 1912. He married Miss Ruth Eicher, Jun 24, 1944, at Elkton. The remains 
are in the Alden A MacAlpine funeral home. Funeral services will be held Mon 
afternoon.
