Clara (Fisher) Oberski
January 21, 1888 – February 20, 1958
Mrs. Clara O'Berski, 70, wife of Daniel O'Berski, died Thursday in Bad Axe 
General Hospital after an illness of several months. Mrs. O'Berski was born 
January 21, 1888, in Minden Township, Sanilac County. She and Mr.O’Berski were 
married October 27, 1 1915, in St. Mary's Catholic church in Parisville. They 
lived since then in Paris Township. Mrs. O'Berski is survived by her husband, 
three sons, Dr. E W. O'Berski and Dr. James O'Berski, both of Grosse Pointe 
Farms, and Bernard O'Berski, Ruth; daughter, Mrs. Edward Bodis, Port Austin; 14 
grandchildren and four brothers Martin Flsher, Ubly, Edward and Julius Fisher, 
both of Detroit, and. Stanley Fisher, Minden City.  Funerai services will be 
held at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Trinlty Cathollc church at Smiths corners. Rev. 
Francis Lukowicz will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. The 
remains are in Zinger funeral home at Ubly where Rosary devotions will be 
conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday by Father Lukowicz and at 3 p.m. by Ladies Alter 
Society of Holy Trinity church.  Published Port Huron Times Herald Friday 
February 21, 1958

Notes:  Parents:  John A. and Sophia (Sofka) Fisher.  Married Alex Oberski (1884-
1912) on November 23, 1909 in Parisville.  Daughter:  Edith.  Edith is Alex’s 
daughter.
