John F O'Rourke
Funeral services were held Thurs morning for John F O'Rourke, 74, Ruth. Rev Frank 
W Kaufmann officiated at the service held in SS Peter & Paul Cath ch. Mr. O'Rourke 
was a former dredging contractor and Great Lakes sailor for about 5 years. Born 
June 14, 1875, in Sanilac county, he died Sun in his home after an illness of a 
week resulting from a stroke.  Survivors of the deceased are his widow, Leona; two 
daughters, Mrs. Alma Marie Karges, Ruth; one son Leo O'Rourke, Ruth and 7 
grandchildren. Burial was in the church cemetery.
