Robert Charles Osantowki  
March 24, 1922 - August 3, 1948
Parisville, Aug. 4 Robert C. Osentoski. 26, Paris Township farmer, died Tuesday 
afternoon of heart disease in the office of Dr. W. B. Holdship in Ubly, a few 
minutes after he arrived at the office., He was stricken while threshing grain 
with other farmers at the farm of his father, Peter Osentoski. ,He is survived 
by his widow, Ellomae, twin sons, Leonard and Larry; his parents, seven 
brothers, Roman Osentoski, Parisville; Theodore Osentoski, Port Austin; Martin 
and Peter Osentoski, both of Detroit, and Adam, Fabian and Arthur Osentoski, all 
of Paris Township; six sisters, Mrs. Clarence Nowicki, Rapson; Mrs. Leo Kociba, 
Harbor Beach; Mrs. Arthur Jaskowski and Miss Rose Osentoski, both of Parisville; 
Mrs. Raymond Partaka, Palms, and Mrs. Anthony Stashinski, Detroit, and his 
grandmother, Mrs. Julia Czewski, Ubly. 

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic church.  
Rev. Michael J. Kujawa will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. 
He was born Feb. 24, 1922, in Paris Township.  Published Port Huron Times Herald 
Wednesday August 4, 1948.

Notes:  Born in Paris Township to Peter & Rose (Czewski) Osentoski.  His WWII 
Draft Registration states he was born March 24, 1922 and not February 22nd.  
Since Robert would have supplied the information for his draft registration and 
not for his death records, I am using March 24th as his birth date.  He married 
Ella Mae Zmich on October 23, 1943 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Parisville.  
Ella Mae was pregnant with their third child (Patricia) at the time of his death
