CASS CITY CHRONICLE-THURSDAY, MARCH 17, 1983
Casmer (Cass ) Osentoski ,78, Sheridan Township, died March 4, 1983 at his 
home.  He was born December 5, 1904, in Austin Township, the son of Albert and 
Agnes (Pyrek) Osentoski.  Cass Osentoski and Irene Glaza were married October 
11,1927 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parisville.  He was a parishioner at 
St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Sheridan Township, and retired from farming 
in 1970.  

Surviving are his wife, Irene; three sons, Jerry Osentoski, Ubly, Norman 
Osentoski, Sterling Heights, and Kenneth Osentoski, Otisville; one daughter, 
Mrs., William (Marlene) Peters, Lake Orion; 18 grandchildren; five great-
grandchildren; one brother, Michael Osentoski, Oak Park, and one sister, Anna 
Abraham, Parisville.  He was preceded in death by one son, Melvin Osentoski, 
in November, 1964, along with one sister and three brothers.  

Funeral services were held March 7 at St. Columbkille, Rev: Julius Spleet 
officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  Arrangements were by Zinger 
Smigielski
