Rose (Mazure) Osentoski
August 26, 1878 – January 18, 1951
Mrs. Frank Osentoski Ubly, January 19 - Funeral services for Mrs. Rose 
Osentoski, 72, wife of Frank Osentoski, will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Monday in 
St. John, the Evangelist, Catholic church.  Rev. Stanley A. Kilar will 
officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  

Mrs. Osentoski died Thursday in her home after a long illness.  She is survived 
by her husband, four sons, Leo, of Ubly; Felix and Stanley, both of Tyre, and 
Sylvester, of Cass City; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Kubacki, Bad Axe; Mrs. Albena 
Woytalewicz and Mrs. Theresa Grifka, both of Tyre; Mrs. Frances Rutkowski, Ubly, 
and Mrs. Virginia Ekquist, Detroit; 41 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a 
sister, Mrs. Mary Heleski, Harbor Beach, and three brothers, Michael Mazure, 
Harbor Beach, and Barney and August, both of Bad Axe.  Mrs. Osentoski was born 
August 26, 1878, in Paris Township.  She was married July 30, 1899, to Mr. 
Osentoski.  They lived in Paris Township until they moved six years ago to 
Cumber, Sanilac County.  They came two years ago to Ubly. R emains are in the 
Edward Zinger and Son funeral home.  Father Kilar will conduct Rosary devotions 
at 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.  Published Port Huron Times Herald Friday
