Irene (Glaza) Osentoski
April 4, 1911 - October 11, 1990
Irene Osentoski, 79, Sheridan Township, died Thursday, October 11, 1990, at 
the Huron County Medical Care Facility after a long illness.  She was born 
April 4, 1911, in Parisville, daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine 
(Dropiewski) Glaza.  She married Casimer Osentoski October 11, 1927 at St. 
Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville.  He preceded her in death March 4, 1983.  
Mrs. Osentoski attended St. Mary's Elementary School, farmed with her 
husband in Sheridan Township for 50 years, was a member of St. Columbkille 
Parish for 50 years and she was a member of the Confraternity of Christian 
Mothers.  She Is survived by three sons, Norman (Irene) Osentoski, Sterling 
Heights, Jerry (Audrey) Osentoski, Ubly, and Kenneth (Suzanne) Osentoski. 
Otisville; one daughter, Mrs. William  (Marlene) Peters, Lake Orion; 18 
grandchildren, 12 great-grand children; two brothers, Elmer Glaza, Detroit 
and Stanley Glaza, Ruth.  She was preceded in death by one son, Melvin; one 
brother, Alex Glaza; and five sisters, Anna Coughlin, Julia Schumacher, 
Agnes Depcinski, Minnie. Shemka, and Evelyn Lemanski.

Services were 11 a.m. Monday at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Sheridan 
Township.  The Rev. Peter Gaspeny, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in the 
church cemetery.  Arrangements were made by the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral 
Home, Ubly.  Published Minden City Herald Thursday October 18, 1990
