Born February 22, 1928 in Ubly, Mr. Osentoski came as a child to Sheridan township. He and Miss Loreane Inda were married September 15, 1956 in St. Edward's Catholic Church, Kinde. He was a member of the Ushers Club of St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Sheridan township. He is survived by his widow, two sons, Marvin and Duane Osentoski, and two daughters, Marilyn and Sharon Osentoski, all of whom live with their parents; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cass Osentoski, Ubly; three brothers, Norman Osentoski, Detroit; Jerry Osentoski, Ubly, and Kenneth Osentoski, Otisville, Michigan; a sister, Miss Marlene Osentoski, Ubly, and grandmother, Mrs. Agnes Osentoski, Ubly. Funeral services will be conducted at 10: 30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Columbkille Church by Rev. Edward R. Werm. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains are in Zinger Funeral Home. Ubly, where the Rosary will be recited at 8: 30 p.m. today. Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Monday November 9, 1964 ============= Funeral services for Melvin C. Osentoski, were held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Sheridan Township. Rev. Edward R. Worm officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Osentoski died Sunday in Cass City Hospital after a seven month illness. He was born February 28, 1928 in Ubly and lived in Sheridan township since a small child. Mr. Osentoski and Miss Loreane Inda were married September 15, 1956 in St. Edward's Catholic Church, Kinde. He was employed by Pigeon Manufacturing Company. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Marvin and Duane and two daughters, Marilyn and Sharon, all at home: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cass Osentoski, Ubly; grandmother, Mrs. Agnes Osentoski, Ubly; three brothers, Norman, of Detroit, Jerry, Ubly. and Kenneth of Otisville and one sister, Miss Marlene Osentoski. Ubly. Rosary was recited Monday at 8:30 p.m. in Zinger funeral home.
