Frank Osentoski July 1876 - July 9, 1951 Frank Osentoski, 75, retired former, who resided in Ubly, died Monday morning on the way to attend his granddaughter’s funeral. He had died of injuries received in an automobile accident on June 30. Funeral services for Mr. Osentoski were held Thursday morning in St. John the Evangelist Church in Ubly. He was born July 8, 1976, in Paris Township and lived there nearly 70 years before moving six years ago to Cumber. He moved to Ubly two years ago. He to survived by four sons, Leo of Ubly, Felix and Stanley of Tyre, and Sylvester of Cass City; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Kubacki of Bad Axe, Mrs. Albena White and Mrs. Theresa Grifka of Tyre, Mrs. Stanley Rutkowski of Ubly and Mrs. Virginia Ekquist of Detroit; 44 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Warchuck, Ubly and Mrs. Alex Helewski of Tyre and a brother, Peter of Tyre. Married Rose Mazure on July 31, 1899 in St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. Frank’s death record and obituary show his birthdate as July 8, along with a newspaper article about his death. However, his WWI Draft Registration show his birthdate as July 15.
