Frank Osowski
July 4, 1869 - August 27, 1949
Tyre, Aug. 27 Frank Osowski, 80, resident of this vicinity 78 years, died 
unexpectedly Saturday of heart disease in his home in Austin Township, 
Sanilac County.  Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a m. Tuesday in St. 
John, the Evangelist, Catholic church in Ubly.  Rev. Stanley A. Kilar will 
officiate.  Burial will be in the church Cemetery.  The remains are in his 
home where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Monday. 

Mr. Osowoski is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Stella Kunz, Bad Axe; Mrs. 
Mary Maliszewski, Mrs. Frances Maliszewski, Mrs. Joanna Marquette and Mrs. 
Esther Lipton, all of Detroit, and Mrs. Gertrude Brinker, Birmingham, Mich.; 
two sons, Edward Osowoski, Detroit, and John Osowoski, Tyre; 26 
grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Paul Gornowicz, 
Detroit, and a halfbrother, Paul Osowski, Pinconning, Mich.  His wife, 
Josephine, died Jan. 8, 1948. He was born July 4, 1869, in Poland and came 
to the United States when he was two years old.  He lived in Bingham 
Township until nine years ago when he moved to Austin Township.  Published 
Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Sunday August 28, 1949.

Note:  Born in Poland to Anthony and Julia (Michaelski) Ososki.  Married 
Josephine Kubacki July 11, 1892 in St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville.
