Leroy James Page  
August 12, 1944 – October 29, 2018
Leroy James Page, 74 of Ruth, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at Henry 
Ford Detroit Hospital.  He was born on August 12, 1944, in Ruth, to the late 
David and Christina (Booms) Page.  Leroy was a graduate of Sts. Peter & Paul 
High School.  He was employed at Tower (aka Active) and was a mail carrier for 
44 years, retiring in 2015.  He was a parishioner of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic 
Church, Holy Apostles Parish in Ruth since 1987 where he was a very active 
member of the Usher's Club.  Leroy enjoyed the accordion, farming, playing 
euchre, Uno, checkers and visiting with dear family and friends.  

Leroy is survived by three children, Michael Page of DeForest, Wisconsin, 
Marcella (Rafael Guerrera) Johnson of Chicago, Illinois, Mark (Eric Parrilla) 
Page of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one grandson, Daniel Michalski of DeForest, 
Wisconsin; one brother, Joseph (Gladys) Page; four sisters, Bertha Kramer, 
Florence Horetski, Marian (Francis) Mazure, Rose Ann (Craig) Lawson.  He was 
preceded in death by one grandson, James Sukowatey, four brothers and four 
sisters. 

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 at Sts. Peter & Paul 
Catholic Church, Holy apostles Parish in Ruth.  Rev. Christopher Coman, pastor, 
will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be at 
the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Friday from 1:30 to 8 p.m. and on 
Saturday at Sts. Peter & Paul Church from 10 to 10:45 a.m.  There will be a 
rosary recited Friday evening at 7 p.m. by the Holy Apostles Usher's Club.  
Memorials have been requested to Leroy's family, care of Michael Page.  Please
