He was born May 10, 1889, in Parisville, the son of Alexander and Caroline (Borowiec) Partyka. Particka and Anna Goniwiecha were married November 11, 1908, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parisville. She preceded him in death December 12, 1965. The couple lived in Detroit and Rapson before moving to Ubly in 1950 and farmed in the Rapson area until his retirement. Surviving are three sons, Alex Particka, Floyd Particka and Frank Particka Jr., all of Ubly; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren, and two stepbrothers, Roman Smith, Minden City, and Peter Smith, Gaylord. Two sons, Aloysius Particka and Anthony Particka, two brothers and two stepsisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Catholic Church, Ubly. Rev. Julius Spleet officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A wake service was conducted Monday evening by Father Spleet at Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home, Ubly .
