Margaret Elizabeth (Schmitz) Particka
August 13, 1918 - March 1, 1996
Margaret E. Particka, 77, of Croswell, died Friday, March 1, 1996 at St. 
John’s Hospital, Detroit.  She was born August 13, 1918 in Huron County, 
daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Braun) Schmitz.  She retired from 
Huron Shore Country Club in Port Sanilac.  She previously worked at Lakeview 
Hills Country Club, Lexington.  She was a member of St. Patricks’ Church and 
the Altar Society.  She enjoyed bowling and golfing.

Surviving are two daughters, Audrey Milletics of Croswell and Lorraine (Tom) 
Brady of Duluth, Minnesota; two sisters, Mary Schumacher and Ann Tenbusch 
both of Ruth; six grandchildren, Beatrice (Tony) Katzmarek, Margaret E. 
Brady and Jacqueline (John) Valentine all of Duluth, Pamela (Carlos) San 
Miguel of Daleville, Alabama, Chip Milletics of Traverse City and Curt 
Milletics of San Diego, California; and two great-granddaughters, Kelly 
Katzmarek and Tara Brady.  She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, 
Annette, Milletics; one brother, Anthony Schmitz; and one sister, Rose 
Tenbusch. 

Services were Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Croswell.  Rev. 
Wolfgang Strtichaidt officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Croswell.
