Fabian Sebastian Pawlowski
October 27, 1910 - November 30, 1993
Fabian S. Pawlowski, 83, of Filion died Tuesday, November 30, 1993, at home 
after a short illness.  He was born October 27, 1910 in Parisville, son of 
the late Peter and Josephine (Wrubel) Pawlowski.  He married Susan Kubacki 
on November 11, 1933 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Parisville.  Mr. 
Pawlowski attended country school and sailed for six seasons on the Great 
Lakes.  He farmed for 58 years in Bloomfield Township, retiring in 1973.  He 
served on the board of directors for Rapson Schools. He was a justice of the 
peace in Bloomfield Township for many years, and was a Bloomfield Township 
clerk for 20 years.  He was a charter member of the Rapson Sportsmen’s Club.  
He also was a former member of the Civil Defense group of Huron County and 
the Bad Axe Knights of Columbus.  He was a lifelong parishioner of St. 
Joseph's Catholic Church in Rapson, where he was a member of the Holy Name 
Society and the bell toller for 50 years. 

Surviving are his wife Susan of Filion; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Vivian) 
Peyerk of Port Austin and Delphine Rutkowski of Harbor Beach, two sons, Paul 
and his wife Betty of Filion and Hillary and his wife Delphine of Port Hope; 
13 grandchildren; 11 peat-grandchildren; and one sister, Minnie Tschirhart 
of Warren.  He was preceded in death by two grandchildren; three brothers, 
Stephen, Edward and Paul Pawlowski; and five sisters, Frances Particka, 
Bridget Peruski, Agnes Peruski, Bertha and Loretta Scott.

Service were Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rapson.  The Rev. 
John Cotter, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
