Herman Sylvester Pelot
November 4, 1917 - January 30, 1965
HERMAN S. PELOT Funcral services were held Wednesday at 9:00 a. m. in St. 
Mary’s Catholic Church, Parisville, for Herman S. Pelot, 47, who died 
suddenly of a heart attack at work at the Michigan Peat Company, Minden City 
plant on Saturday.   Rev. I. J. Wolosczyk, pastor, officiated.  Burial was 
in the church cemetery. 

Mr. Pelot was born November 4, 1917 at Minden City and was a lifelong 
resident.  He and Eileen Schumacher were married January 22. 1946 in SS. 
Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Ruth.  He was maintenance man at the 
Michigan Peat, Inc., Minden City plant.  Deputy coroner Dr. A. G. Lambert. 
Minden City, was called.  

Mr. Pelot is survived by his widow. Eileen, two sons. Steven and Dale, at 
home, one daughter, Julie, at home; three sisters. Mrs. Harold Erdman, Port 
Sanilac. Mrs. Joseph Pletta, Detroit, and Mrs. Lawrence Peruski, Minden City 
and several nieces and nephews.  Remains were in Bowen Funeral Home, Minden 
City, where Rosary was recited at 8:30 pm. on Tuesday.  Published Minden 
City Herald Thursday February 4, 1965
