Peplinski January 14, 1913 – December 13, 1999 Mr. Edmund F. Peplinski, 86, of Ruth died Monday, December 13, 1999, at his residence. He was born on January 14, 1913, in Parisville, the son of the late Joseph and Lucy (Woyciechowski) Peplinski. He married Leona O'Parka on February 11, 1939, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Parisville. He is survived by his wife, Leona, of Ruth; one son, Virgil Peplinski and his wife, Delphine, of Ruth; six daughters, Marie Bartarian and her husband, Walter "Marvin," of Vanderbelt, Janet Idyle and her husband, Edward, of Gaylord, Doris Stimpfel and her husband, Thomas, of Cass City, Shirley Brownson and her special friend, Tom, of Otisville, Sharon Fisher and her husband, Barry, of Gaylord and Karen Maurer and her husband, Leonard, of Lake Worth, Florida; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Peplinski of Filion, Archie Peplinski and his wife, Regina, of Ruth and Ernest Peplinski and his wife, Lorraine, of South Lyons; seven sisters, Bertha Vincent of Rochester Hills, Mary Maraj of Scottsdale, Arizona Emilie Kopinski of Rochester Hills, Irene Zalewski of Novi, Selma Danielski and her husband, Ray, of Ruth, Alma Osentoski and her husband, Ben, of Garden City and Elsie Peruski of South Lyons. He was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer Peplinski; son-in-law, Philip Brownson and grandson, Michael Smeader. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 1999, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Parisville. The Rev. Charles Hammond, pastor, will officiate. A parish wake service will be conducted at 8 tonight and a rosary by the St. Mary's Men's Club at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Zinger- Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
