Lillian was born May 26, 1920 in Parisville to the late Martin and Alice (O’Berski) Fisher. She married Frank Peplinski Sr. Aug. 26, 1939 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. He preceded her in death Dec. 5, 2008. Lillian attended the Maurer School in Smith Corners. She worked at the Nestles Plant as a lab tech for over 25 years. She worked at Huron Memorial Hospital for over 14 years as a children’s nursery aide and housekeeper. She was a parishioner at St. John Catholic Church in Ubly where she was a member of the St. John Christian Mothers Circle No. 3, Mary Magdalene. She also was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Fidelis Regina Circle No. 608. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, crocheting, reading and doing word search puzzles. Lillian is survived by two sons, Frank Peplinski Jr. and his wife, Georgia, of Ubly, Mike Peplinski and his wife, Sandy, of Cass City; two daughters, Patricia Smith of Ubly, Barbara Partaka and her husband, Leonard, of Stafford, Va.; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Marvin Fisher and his wife, Anastasia, of Fort Myers, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. Lillian was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Theresa Partaka, and two sisters, Erma Fisher and Esther Murray. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at St. John Catholic Church in Ubly. The Rev. Joseph Griffin, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home. There will be a Daughters of Isabella Rosary at 3 p.m. Friday and a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. Friday. There will be a Christian Mothers rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
