Lucy (Woychiechowski) Peplinski 
December 13, 1885 - September 6, 1965
Solemn High Mass was recited at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in St. John’s Catholic 
Church, Ubly by Rev. Zygmunt Gaj and other priests, for Mrs. Lucy Peplinski, 
79.  Burial was in the St. Mary’s church cemetery, Parisville.  Mrs. Peplinski 
died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray Danielski in Parisville after 
suffering a heart attack.  She was born December 13, 1885 in Paris Township and 
was a lifelong resident of the area.  On March 6, 1905, she and Joseph 
Peplinski were married in St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  They farmed in Paris 
Township until they retired and moved to Ubly.  Mrs. Peplinski was a member of 
St. Mary’s church.

Survivors are her husband; four sons, Edward and Arthur of Ruth, Frank of 
Warren and Ernest of Nankin Township; seven daughters, Mrs. Bertha (Charles) 
Maher of Brighton, Mrs. Mary (Joseph) Maraj of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Emily 
(Ray) Kopinski, Warren, Mrs. Irene (John) Zalewski, Detroit, Mrs. Alma (Ben) 
Osentoski, Garden City, Mrs. Alice/Elsie (Benjamin) Peruski, Plymouth and Mrs. 
Selma Danielski, 37 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. 
Laura Ciecisniewski, Detroit.  A son, Elmer Peplinski was killed in 1949 in a 
train-automobile crossing accident.  Published unknown

Norma’s Notes: Daughter of John and Catherine Spiew/Spiea Woychiechowski.  Mrs. 
Peplinski’s daughter’s were only identified by their husbands names in the 
obituary.  I have added their first names to the obituary
